University has produced many outstanding students such as Talha Hussein who was the first person to graduate from the University. He was the first Egyptian to become the Dean of the arts school. He further progressed to be an education minister for the country and also has the honor of receiving the Nobel Prize in Literature. Plus he was blind from his early child hood days. The list of faculties in the Cairo University is long. It is most famous for medical and Law but Faculty of Agriculture, Commerce, Sciences, Arts, Archeology, Computer and IT, Dentistry, Engineering, Mass communication, Pharmacy and physiotherapy are also very famous and well reputed.
